About Visual Symphony

Visual Symphony (VS) is the artistic collaboration of conductor
Tibor Bogányi and visual artist Ágnes Zászkaliczky,
reimagining the concert experience for the 21st century.

Visual Symphony’s mission is to bring classical music to
a wider public, inspiring audiences far
beyond traditional concert halls. By fusing classical music
with cutting-edge visual technology and contemporary dance,
Visual Symphony creates multi-sensory productions that transform each performance into a living, cinematic experience.

Concept and Vision

Carmina Burana 3D –
A Bridge Between the Old and the New

Visual Symphony’s first major project, Carmina Burana 3D, was commissioned by the Hungarian National Opera House. The Opera has kept it in its repertoire ever since the premiere, performing it regularly.

Combining real-time visual projection and a holographic net system created together with Freelusion Ltd, we brought Carmina Burana to the stage in operatic form.
Since its debut, the production has reached audiences in 66 sold-out performances- in 2026 it will return to the Opera House for 14 more shows.

Through symbols such as the Phoenix, Tree of Life, and Sun and Moon, Orff’s musical universe unfolds on stage. For us, Carmina Burana 3D is not just a concert—it is an invitation to experience this masterpiece as an Opera.

Magic of Vivaldi – The Four Seasons

The Magic of Vivaldi is the latest concert production from the Visual Symphony team — created in partnership with the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra.

The production combines authentic baroque interpretation with expressive contemporary dance choreography and richly textured, cinematic LED imagery, shaping them into a single, unified experience. Between the concertos (The Four Seasons) electronic soundscapes open a window into an underwater world, creating a striking contrast to Vivaldi’s baroque universe. These moments serve as a spectacular yet dramatic reminder of the fragility of Venice — and of our culture itself.

The production premiered on August 16, 2025, in Budapest, where it was hailed as a visionary, multi-sensory celebration. Critics described it as “the future of concerts” — a “glimpse into the concert experience of tomorrow”.
